IIMBx partners with Government, Academic Institutes and Corporates to deliver specialised courses and programs to their respective cohorts. These partnerships focus on skillbuilding, upskilling, training and social impact. We have partnered with MOOC, edX and so on.
The MInistry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, has appointed IIM Bangalore as one of the nine national coordinators for its SWAYAM initiative.
IIMBx is vested with the responsibility of ensuring that best quality educational content is produced and delivered through the SWAYAM platform in the Management area.
IIMBx is the digital learning wing of IIM Bangalore. Founded in 2014 with a clear vision to make high quality higher education accessible to all–irrespective of any social or economic constraints that learners might have–IIMBx creates and offers online courses with the help of faculty from IIM Bangalore.
IIMBx’ s vision is to create a positive social impact by leveraging technology to make education inclusive, accessible and transformational.
What’s In Store
To popularise the digital learning pedagogy, IIMBx organises one-day Faculty Development Programmes at regular intervals. Till date, over 1400 faculty members from business schools and universities have participated in this programme.
The MOOC Development Workshop is offered to faculty interested in understanding and adopting MOOCs into their classroom pedagogy. The workshop explores different aspects of creating a MOOC: Planning, Designing, Production, and Delivery.
A blended Certificate Programme in Technology and Management jointly offered by IIM Bangalore and IIT Madras
CTM is a 11-month long programme, offered in four modules. Each module spans for about three months, comprising technical and management courses
