SWAYAM

SWAYAM Programme was established under the aegis of the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India, for expanding educational access and opportunities courses and pedagogies. Swayam courses cover all subjects and skill sectors from high school to higher education. SWAYAM seeks to bridge the digital divide for students who have hitherto remained untouched by the digital revolution and have not been able to join the mainstream of the knowledge economy. SWAYAM designed to achieve the three cardinal principles of Education Policy viz., access, equity and quality.

Submit MOOC Proposal

Expression of Interest (MOOC Proposals) are invited from those who wish to offer online course(s) on the SWAYAM platform in the area of management. Interested Institutions and Universities can apply by sending a detailed MOOC proposal.

SWAYAM GUIDELINES

Through SWAYAM integrated learning platform courses from India’s top-ranking institutions and faculty are made available to learners anywhere in an asynchronous mode.
All courses on the Swayam platform are free. Learners, if they are students currently enrolled in an educational institution or university, have also the option of transferring credits earned through the SWAYAM courses to their respective home institutions.

Examination

Timed and proctored examinations are conducted twice every year; in April/ May and December for Management courses. The details of the examination will be communicated to students through the SWAYAM Website. The details of Exam dates, time, venue, procedure to apply for exam, the status of application, hall tickets and results will also be communicated through the SWAYAM Website.

IIMB on SWAYAM

IIMB is one of the nine national coordinators and has offered more than 20 courses on SWAYAM since 2017. As a National Coordinator, IIMB receives and evaluates MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) proposals in the area of management studies from Universities and Institutions willing to offer their course on SWAYAM. Universities and Institutions can send the proposals to IIMBx, the digital learning division of IIM Bangalore.
