Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented and imaginative Video Editing & Content Intern to join our digital content team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both creating and publishing content across social media platforms. As part of an education-focused brand, you will play a key role in editing, creating, repurposing, and publishing content for Instagram and YouTube, ensuring consistency, quality, and timely execution.

You will work on Instagram posts, carousels, Reels, and YouTube posts and Shorts, while also helping plan and maintain a structured posting schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Editing

    • Create and edit Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts from raw or long-form videos
    • Repurpose long educational content into short, engaging social media clips
    • Design Instagram posts and carousels
    • Create YouTube posts, including basic support for thumbnails, titles, and descriptions and ensure timely delivery
    • Ensure all content follows brand tone, visuals, and educational objectives
  • Publishing & Platform Management

    • Publish content on Instagram and YouTube as per the content calendar
    • Optimize content for platform-specific formats, sizes, and best practices
    • Add captions, hashtags, tags, and CTAs to improve reach and engagement
  • Content Planning & Scheduling

    • Create and maintain a posting schedule for Instagram and YouTube
    • Coordinate with internal teams to receive content on time
    • Ensure consistent and timely publishing
  • Collaboration & Optimization

    • Work with team members to plan content ideas and formats
    • Stay updated with social media trends and short-form video practices
    • Track basic performance metrics and suggest improvements
  • Qualifications

    • Proficiency in video editing and design tools such as Opus Clip, Adobe Premiere Pro, and/or Canva
    • Experience or strong interest in creating content for Instagram and YouTube
    • Understanding of short-form video trends, hooks, pacing, and storytelling
    • Familiarity with social media formats such as Reels, Shorts, posts, and carousels
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deliverables
    • Ability to follow brand guidelines and maintain visual consistency
    • Self-motivated with strong time management, creativity and organizational skills
    • Enthusiasm for the education sector and digital content trends
