Excellence in
Learner-centric Pedagogy

IIMBx is excited to invite you to our latest Faculty Development Program, “Excellence in Learner-centred Pedagogy”. It is scheduled to be held on April 26, 2025 at IIM Bangalore.

With sweeping advancements in educational technologies, learners aspire to be more connected to their surroundings. This calls for learner experience to be characterized more by collaboration and connection to place, with digital learning as only one conduit for this. Our program starts with an in-person workshop on campus, introducing faculty to the fundamentals of learner-centric pedagogy through interactive sessions with IIMB faculty. Following this, faculty will be enrolled in IIMBx’s flagship online course ‘Digital Learning Playbook,’ focusing on digital and hybrid pedagogy for a range of subjects.

IIMBx, the digital learning initiative of the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB), believes that education should be accessible and affordable across all strata of society. IIMBx is a pioneer in digital learning, with IIMB expert faculty collaborating to produce online education that reaches learners across the globe. In the spirit of collaboration and keeping learning in the institute porous, IIMBx organizes FDPs on digital learning techniques. These programs are designed to empower educators in designing curricula that stay agile as technology, teaching tools, and learners constantly evolve. Over eight years, nineteen such programs have been conducted, aiding thousands of educators to adopt effective online pedagogy. This year, we expand on the same to center each learner with their rich experiences, unique perspectives, and changing relationship to the world of education.
