What is the FinTech Certification Programme for Young Leaders?
The FinTech Programme is a 6-month certificate program offered fully online and asynchronous, which means that learners can learn at their convenience in terms of time and location.
It is an employment oriented programme that provides a broad understanding of the different constituents of the FinTech industry in India, namely, payments, banking / lending, insurance and wealth management. It starts by providing a basic understanding of facets of business management that are important for the FinTech industry such as finance, accounting, quantitative methods, basics of business and people management. It also has courses on horizontal topics such as business communication, entrepreneurship, AI and blockchain which are helpful for building a career in the FinTech industry. The curriculum is intended to prepare graduates for a career in the FinTech industry, starting as a young professional.
What is the structure of the curriculum?
The programme consists of two parts – Part A and Part B. The duration of each part will be approximately three months from the date of release of the courses in that part.

This will ensure effective learning and internalisation of concepts. It will also make for a less rushed and therefore less stressful learning experience. Each course will have 4 modules with asynchronous videos, reading material and other pedagogical components. There will be timed module wise assessments inside the IIMBx platform. There will be a proctored in-centre final exam at the conclusion of each part.
The re-exam for each part will happen once in case the candidate is unsuccessful/unable to attend in the first attempt. For example: If a candidate is unsuccessful in the first attempt at the end of Part A exam, he/she can attempt re-exam that will be held within 15 days of the first attempt.
Please note, this exam is a re-exam for unsuccessful candidates only and should not be considered as an improvement exam. This additional re-exam would incur an additional charge, apart from the programme fees. Candidates will need to pass both the parts respectively, in order to receive the certificate.
What is the duration of the programme?
Structured in two parts—Part A (3 months) and Part B (3 months)—the programme offers a blend of academic rigor and industry relevance through faculty-led lectures, real-time interactions, and self-paced modules.
