Parallel classroom sessions on selected topics to gain high-level insights and best practices, delivered through videos, hands-on exercises and group discussions, in addition to the conventional chalk-and-board method.

Workshop

Features application of blended methodology in teaching including regular classroom and digital learning. Participants present their blended-learning module designed during the workshop with the IIMBx team and Professors.

To popularise the digital learning pedagogy, IIMBx organises one-day Faculty Development Programmes at regular intervals. Till date, over 1400 faculty members from business schools and universities have participated in this programme.

Key highlights of the FDPs at IIMBx

  • The FDP provides a brief introduction to digital education and MOOCs.
  • Participants should be nominated by their parent institution.
  • Participants are issued certificates at the end of the programme

Fellowship Programme

Strategy and the Sustainable Enterprise
for Teachers

First batch: July – September Next batch: Dates to be announced.
This Faculty-only course is for those interested in introducing sustainability – related courses to their students. Spread over 14 weeks, this course examines how sustainability issues influence corporate strategy and how these challenges can be transformed into sources of competitive advantage. Faculty selected for the IIMBx-Wipro Faculty Development fellowship programme will be invited to a one-day FDP at IIM Bangalore. This FDP is was made possible with the generous support from Wipro Limited and Harvard Business School Publishing.

MOOC Development
Workshop

The MOOC Development Workshop is offered to faculty interested in understanding and adopting MOOCs into their classroom pedagogy. The workshop explores different aspects of creating a MOOC: Planning, Designing, Production, and Delivery. Through live sessions, team activities, hands-on project, short videos and reading material, the participants get to explore the life cycle of a MOOC.
