Emerging Leaders Programme (Blended Online Programme)

The Emerging Leaders Programme (ELP) is a seven-month-long programme for first-time managers or soon-to-be managers. Driven by technology and digital business models, the business environment is rapidly transforming. Therefore, all managers need to be entrepreneurial and innovative to succeed.

The programme went live on 15th April 2021.

The programme has been designed to equip participants with expert knowledge on the following themes –

    • Leadership competencies
    • Financial acumen
    • Operations and supply chain management
    • Creating, delivering and capturing
    • value through customer centricity
    • Strategic thinking and innovation

One day FDP on blended learning

To popularise the digital learning pedagogy, IIMBx organises one-day Faculty Development Programmes at regular intervals.Till date, over 1400 faculty members from business schools and universities have participated in this programme.

Key highlights of the FDPs at IIMBx:

 
    • The FDP provides a brief introduction to digital education and MOOCs.
    • Participants should be nominated by their parent institution.
    • Participants are issued certificates at the end of the programme

Faculty development fellowship program

Strategy And The Sustainable Enterprise For Teachers

First batch: July – September Next batch: Dates to be announced. This Faculty-only course is for those interested in introducing sustainability – related courses to their students. Spread over 14 weeks, this course examines how sustainability issues influence corporate strategy and how these challenges can be transformed into sources of competitive advantage. Faculty selected for the IIMBx-Wipro Faculty Development fellowship programme will be invited to a one-day FDP at IIM Bangalore. This FDP is was made possible with the generous support from Wipro Limited and Harvard Business School Publishing.

 

MOOC development workshop

The MOOC Development Workshop is offered to faculty interested in understanding and adopting MOOCs into their classroom pedagogy. The workshop explores different aspects of creating a MOOC: Planning, Designing, Production, and Delivery. Through live sessions, team activities, hands-on project, short videos and reading material, the participants get to explore the life cycle of a MOOC

MOOC On MOOC – Digital Learning Playbook

Objective Explore the underlying pedagogy and other aspects of creating a massive open online course (MOOC). In this course, you will explore the different aspects of creating a MOOC and learn to apply effective blended learning methodologies in your class. Who will this course benefit While this course is designed for anyone with an interest in digital and blended learning, it will especially benefit faculty members teaching undergraduate and post-graduate students. It will also help corporate training professionals and/or anyone looking to create learner-centric material.  

Certificate Programme in Technology and Management (CTM)

A blended Certificate Programme in Technology and Management jointly offered by IIM Bangalore and IIT Madras Programme Structure CTM is a 11-month long programme, offered in four modules. Each module spans for about three months, comprising technical and management courses. At the end of each module, proctored exams will be conducted. On successful completion of the programme, the candidate receives a ‘Certificate in Technology and Management. What’s in it for you?

General Management Programme(GMPx)

Programme Overview Disruptive innovations, emerging digital technologies and global competition call for managers with an adaptive mindset and evolving competencies. Businesses need leaders who can contribute beyond their field of functional expertise. General Management Programme on IIMBx (GMPx) – Batch 2, has been designed to provide an accelerated journey of personal and professional growth by focusing on leadership skills, business acumen and a global perspective. GMPx2 is a part-time certificate programme designed to provide the skills, knowledge and global perspectives required to be proficient in today’s corporate world. The programme is based on the highly successful EGMP which is in its 53rd edition and IIMBx, the Massive Online Open Courses (MOOCs) of IIMB’s Digital Learning centre.(IIMB ranked 3rd in MOOC performance among B Schools globally)  

Empowering Women through Entrepreneurship Program

About Programme & Partners National Commission for Women is the apex statutory organisation working towards enabling women to achieve equality and equal participation in all spheres of life. Acknowledging that economic independence is the key to women empowerment, NCW aims to create a lasting impact for women across the country by providing women entrepreneur’s access to knowledge and skills required to grow and sustain their entrepreneurial ventures. To this end, National Commission for Women has joined hands with Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, a renowned academic institution fostering excellence in management, innovation and entrepreneurship, and India SME Forum, India’s largest not for profit organization for small & medium enterprises, and has envisioned a collaborative online training programme to support and sponsor digital learning of 5000 aspiring women entrepreneurs. Selected women entrepreneurs will also get a special chance to be mentored and incubated by our knowledge and mentoring partner post completion of the course  

Past Programs

Women Start-up Program (WSP) The Women Startup Program aims to support ambitious and innovative women entrepreneurs by enabling them to transform their idea into a business venture. First ideated with Goldman Sachs in 2016 , the Program is designed to focus on enhancement of the entrepreneurial and managerial skills of women leading early and ideation stage ventures. The Program provides business knowledge for the entrepreneurs to build on their idea in the initial stage through Massive Open Online Course. The Program then progresses by offering selected candidates a 2 month virtual Launchpad Program where entrepreneurs will undergo business training to develop their prototype. Finalists are selected to be a part of Incubation at NSRCEL where they will focus on developing their product and scaling up. The Program is fully sponsored by Goldman Sachs.
