Our Professional Certificate in Hospital Management is a well-crafted 12-month online program. It aims to equip professionals working in the healthcare industry with various leadership competencies such as managing people, innovations, organizational design, and developing strategies. Furthermore, it also emphasizes building managerial expertise in various areas such as operations, marketing, finance, and economics and an understanding of the regulatory framework of healthcare in India.

The programme was started as a part social impact activity by IIMB through its digital learning initiative, IIMBx. We are happy to have been able to be a part of this batch, as this also serves one of our mottos of giving back to the society. We had enrolment of 15 learners, and the entire programme was run for them exclusively.

The event marked a significant milestone in IIMBx’s commitment to driving social impact through accessible, high-quality education.

The learners were assisted throughout the course, and recently, batch 1 was completed, and we proudly hosted the valedictory ceremony for the Public Health & Hospital Management (PCHM) programme tailored for public sector doctors of the Government of Karnataka.

The event was graced by our esteemed leaders Prof. Rishikesha Krishnan, Director, IIMB; Prof. Vasanthi Srinivasan, Director, IIMBx; Mr. Sitaraman Shankar, CEO, IIMBx; and Prof. Vandana Singhvi Patel, Academic Director.

This special cohort comprised 15 dedicated medical professionals who successfully completed the rigorous program with flying colors. Their outstanding performance is a testament to their dedication and the value of continuous professional development in the public health sector.

We are sure that with this programme these senior doctors will now make an impact in their respective departments, further amplifying the impact of the program on both their careers and the healthcare system at large. Their advancement stands as a proud achievement for both the learners and the IIMBx faculty and staff who mentored them throughout the journey.
