Certificate in General Management for Emerging Leaders (ELP)
The Certificate in General Management for Emerging Leaders programme, referred to as the Emerging Leaders Programme (ELP), is designed for first-time managers and growing leaders. It empowers them to lead people, drive business outcomes, and harness AI tools to make smarter decisions. Structured across five themes and 10 courses, ELP combines the academic rigour of IIM Bangalore with workplace application through an action learning project (ALP) capstone.
The programme is ideal for first-time managers and emerging leaders who have at least 4 - 8 years of professional experience and are looking to prepare for broader managerial responsibilities.
It spans eight months, and is designed to fit alongside professional commitments.
Participants continue to enjoy access to programme content for a period specified by the programme team.

The curriculum covers key areas such as PM for Impact, Communication for Leaders, Valuation and Creating Sustainable Value, Corporate Finance, Customer Relationship Management, Digital Marketing Strategy, Innovation at Leadership Level, Advanced Corporate Strategy, Data-Driven Decision Making for Leaders, and Generative AI for Managers.

Participants access recorded lectures, reading material and assessments, and participate in learning activities on the IIMBx platform.
Participants receive schedules for all live and on-campus sessions well in advance. For the best learning experience, access the programme on a laptop or desktop.

Participants attend weekly doubt-clearing sessions conducted by programme facilitators. Additionally, they can post questions on the learning platform's discussion forum, and seek academic and technical support over email.
Assessments are done with the help of quizzes and examinations on the IIMBx learning management system (LMS).
Yes, participants who meet the completion requirements receive a Certificate in General Management for Emerging Leaders (ELP) issued by IIMBx, the digital learning foundation of IIM Bangalore.
