On 30th June’17, PES University collaborated with IIMBx, the non-profit Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) platform, developed and managed by Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB). This tie-up will give students of the reputed Bangalore based university direct access to world class management education being offered by our renowned faculty of IIMB. PES will adopt the blended classroom model of teaching, allowing students to gain basic information through IIMBx online courseware and then collaborate with their teachers in the classroom for higher order learning.
“MOOCs is the future of learning, since it allows world class education available to every student irrespective of geographical constraint. Professors and teachers need to keep them updated with this disruptive educational transformation. With this partnership PESIT joins the league of universities, shaping the future of education” said Prof P D Jose, Chairman- Digital learning, IIMB.

With more than 5,00,000 students around the world who are already enrolled for numerous management programs like Entrepreneurship, Predictive Analysis, Accounting and Finance, People Management, Marketing Management and Strategy and the Sustainable Enterprise on the edX platform, IIMBx courseware combine videos, quizzes, discussion and readings to create a powerful pedagogical tool.
